Simon Hamid brings a unique and flexible combination of clinical knowledge, pharmaceutical industry expertise and consulting experience to the Parallax team. His Medical Affairs work with leading Global pharmaceutical firms brings a blend of marketing savvy and clinical applicability. He has been involved with the strategy development of several new pharmaceutical products, and also leveraged his clinical experience to then operationalize tactical plans. He is an ardent advocate of building and growing a sub-organization’s prestige within large companies. He is well versed with federal health care issues, and has written on ways to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical marketing and the multicultural consumer.
Selected Engagements
- Provided expert based knowledge for a top-five Global pharmaceutical firm’s project that identified Medical Opinion Leaders and researchers and their company interactions. Application of this data into a relationship management tool allowed focused targeting of appropriate opinion leaders for clinical trials and continued relationship development
- Developed institutional management procedures for the Department of Defense’s Deployment Health Support program. This project focused on the efficient medical processing, tracking, and treatment of deployed and returning overseas personnel from a US-based force projection platform
- Leadership of medical, creative and editorial staff at the managed markets group of a healthcare communications firm. This role created focused deliverables that improved product access and tiering within MCOs as well as the VA health system
